Haneyya stresses rejection of occupation’s “alternative homeland plan”

GAZA, (PIC)-- The Palestinian Prime Minister of the Gaza government, Ismail Haneyya, received an official Jordanian delegation headed the Jordanian Army Chief of Staff, Major General Mahmoud Freihat.

He told the delegation that the Palestinian government in Gaza will not accept the so called “alternative homeland" or for the solution of the Palestinian problem to be at the expense of Jordan or Jordanian territory under any conditions.

He praised the Jordanian efforts especially to help the blockaded people of Gaza and called on Jordan to play a role in preventing any Israeli escalation against the Gaza Strip.

The Prime Minster that on the second anniversary of the war on Gaza the effects of the aggression are still there, especially the destroyed homes which have not been rebuilt because of the blockade.

For his part Freihat expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister’s position on the “alternative homeland” and praised the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, adding that Jordan will not stop at providing the hospital, but will try to build schools and mosques and participate in the building of Gaza.
