WEST BANK, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces rounded up six Palestinian citizens in various areas of the West Bank at dawn Thursday at the pretext of being wanted for interrogation. Hebrew daily Yediot Ahronot said on its website that the arrests were made in Bethlehem and Tulkarem on suspicion of involvement in anti-occupation activity. On Wednesday, Jewish settlers from Yitzhar settlement attacked Palestinian farmers and tried to start fire in their fields in Assira Al-Qabalia, south of Nablus city. Local sources said that Palestinian youths confronted the settlers and prevented them from starting fire. |
