GAZA, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired an artillery shell at an area east of Gaza city at dawn Wednesday without any damage or casualties reported. Eyewitnesses said that the shell exploded in Jabal Al-Rayes and the sound was heard in remote areas. A Palestinian man was killed and five others were injured in IOF shelling and shooting east of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, IOF soldiers rounded up seven Palestinian citizens in the West Bank at dawn Wednesday for suspicion of participating in attacks on Israeli targets. The arrests were made in Nablus, Qalqilia, and Ramallah after a search in many homes, local sources reported. |
