Ghaith’s appeal rejected, given less than 12 hours to leave the city « Wadi Hilweh Information Center – Silwan, Jerusalem

Silwan, Jerusalem (SILWANIC) -- Adnan Ghaith, the Silwan community leader threatened with banishment from his own city of Jerusalem, has received word from the Israeli military that he has until 5pm today to leave Jerusalem.

Ghaith’s lawyer Rami Othman received a letter from the Israeli military commander in charge of the central region, who is spearheading the campaign to have him banished from the capital, informing him that his appeal against the injunction had been rejected, and that he has until 5pm to leave the Jerusalem area. The banishment is expected to be enforced for a period of four months.
